A Fair Use MP3 blog

The last thing this site is attempting to do is to encourage pirating of music.  I imagine we collectively own approximately 2000 CDs, and we will always attempt to link to MP3s explicity hosted by artists and/or their labels.  However, in promoting less heard music or catalog releases, this policy is not always possible.  We will remove any songs that come under fire at any point, and will only host songs for a limited time.  We will also attempt to follow basic tenets of Fair Use MP3 blogging:

* Provide links to the band’s homepage and/or an online outlet to purchase the album.

* We will only post one song per an album from a copyrighted album, unless we merely provide links to other online, approved sources.

* We will NEVER host full albums, open directories, or otherwise allow access to large repositories of pirated music.

* We don’t have access to pre-releases, so they will only be available when made available by artists or labels.

* We will continue to promote sharing music by always encourging readers to purchase our new and old music finds.
